Quim Gil interviewed on FLOSS Weekly
For all of you who are subscribed to FLOSS Weekly with gPodder, you might have already noticed it: On Saturday, the long-awaited interview with Quim Gil from Nokia has been published. You can grab it from here as MP3 file directly or (even better ;) download gPodder from Maemo Extras and subscribe to FLOSS Weekly.

Thanks for pointing out our FLOSS Weekly show!
I only caught the end, and a colleague keeps reminding me to listen to TWIT and FLOSS Weekly, now I've no excuse :-)
Thomas, can gPodder auto-download (incl. resume) favourite podcasts; and maybe even flash an alert when there's one available?
Jaffa: Auto-download is currently not officially possible, because we do not "see" the offline status and there are several occassions where one does not want to auto-download things (on cellular network connections, when you do not have a flat-rate, when you are not connected to the Internet, when you need your speed for a Skype call, etc..).
Resuming is something that can (and should) be supported in the future, but we have not gotten around to do it.
It can flash an alert when you set "auto_update_feeds" to True and set "auto_update_frequency" to the amount of minutes between feed updates.
But most of the time, the use case is this: Fire up gPodder, update the feeds (one button click), select which episodes you want to ignore/have and it will download these for you.
If you use gPodder, please be sure to report all annoyances and bugs to http://bugs.gpodder.org/, so we have a chance of fixing them :) Thanks!
